Kingston College is located centrally within the Logan district and occupies the southern portion of Kingston Hill.
The school was opened in 1977 by the Honorable VJ Bird MLA Minister for Education. Initially the school serviced students in the residential suburbs of Kingston, Marsden, Browns Plains and Loganlea. The school grew quickly and reached peak enrolment of just over 1900 in the mid 1980’s.
The school campus features a natural woodland environment which is arguably one of the most attractive in South-East Queensland. This fact was attested to by a string of awards for the school grounds throughout its history. Specialist facilities exist for all traditional curriculum areas. These school resources cater for a wide range of curriculum offerings in both the academic and vocational subjects. The school boasts ample playing fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a school hall and is the only school in the district with its own swimming pool.
